FINDING FREEDOM FROM ANXIETY

Struggling with anxiety can be difficult and exhausting. I can help you develop the tools to reduce your anxiety, worries, and fears through compassionate evidence-based treatment models to reclaim your life. You will learn methods of managing your thoughts, relaxation and mindfulness, improving self-confidence, and reclaiming your social relationships.
Despite their different forms, form of anxiety share one major symptom: persistent or severe fear or worry in situations where most people would feel threatened. I encourage you to ask yourself a few questions:
-
Do you worry constantly?
-
Does anxiety run your life?
-
Do you avoid people, places or activities? Is your procrastination out of control?
-
Do you notice obsessive thoughts and feel the need to do actions (compulsions) to decrease your anxiety?
-
Are you anxious around others, about your health, about your thoughts, about the uncertain future?
-
Do panic attacks overcome and/or surprise you?
-
Are you unable to be alone in public places for fear of having a panic attack?
If you answered yes to any of the above questions, you shouldn’t have to live that way. Therapy, particularly Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), has been proven to be an effective short-term approach to help relieve anxiety. My goal is to find techniques and tools that work for each client to support you to finding more freedom from anxiety in your life.
